Your function:

You will be the central point of contact for our customers who move internationally, this can be from the Netherlands to Japan, from England to the Netherlands or from Brazil to America, we move our customers from and to all corners of the world. Our customers are often employees of companies that are employed abroad, the so-called expats. Top athletes and celebrities are also part of our customer base. You will coordinate the logistics process, and you are also responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the very best customer service. During the relocation process you will be in contact with our worldwide network of partners, who will help you to provide the best service on location.

Your Responsibilities

• Advise and assist clients in choosing the right moving and relocation services for their individual needs.
• Respond promptly to incoming inquiries (phone, email, online) and follow up with potential customers.
• Conduct on-site and virtual surveys and prepare detailed quotations and pricing.
• Create proposals and shipping documentation in coordination with the operations team.
• Maintain accurate client and sales records in the company’s CRM system.
• Suggest ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline internal processes.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services within the Atlas network.

Your Profile

• Initial experience or strong interest in sales, logistics, or customer service (experience in the moving or relocation industry is an advantage).
• Fluent in English; German proficiency and any other language is a plus.
• Professional, customer-oriented, and detail-focused mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a proactive and solution-driven attitude.
• Strong communication skills and confident working with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Based in or around Zurich area
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required.

The Junior Relocation Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Geneva based Team with administrative tasks and coordinating the range of relocation services offered by Atlas International Movers to its client base.

You will work in a team interacting daily with corporate clients. You will ensure compliance and service excellence, coordinate all relevant tasks for your team, communicate with all parties involved in service delivery to our corporate clients and control the performance of our international service network. The job is very varied and requires good communication and organizational skills.

Your Responsibilities

File Management

• Support the team with creating and keeping their files updated
• Support the team with preparing home searches, keeping the documentation updated for our clients
• Prepare and compile reports as requested by the team and our clients
• Update all client documentation upon receipt of new information
• Keep our tools and database updated and ensure all data in the tool is correct so clients can have full visibility of activity
• Manage assignee files and ensure complete satisfaction from assignee and family and client by exceeding their service expectations
• Take detailed client briefs/needs analysis
• Learn and administer clients’ policies.
• Develop relationship with clients, assignees and their families
• Ensure that information requested by assignee is provided on a timely basis. Return calls or respond to requests for information within 24 hours
• Brief and liaise with counsellors, letting agents and supervise the preparation of property viewings, inventories, check-ins, tenancy agreements, renewals and departures
• Research and book temporary accommodation, set up utilities and all concierge services.
• Highlight to the manager any cost overruns and act accordingly
• Ensure any suitable issues are promptly escalated where appropriate to ensure corrective action can be taken
• Liaise with moving services and furniture rental dept where applicable.
• Look for opportunities to cross sell Atlas’ services.

Team

• Work effectively within the Atlas organization by providing support, where required, to all members of the Organisation
• Advise the respective Relocation Manager/Director of suggestions (process improvement, costs savings)
• Assist team members on management of assignee files and provide day-to-day holiday back up and team support
• Update documentation when requested by team members

Your Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years experience in Relocation services is an advantage
• Professional and confident communicator face to face, over the phone and in writing.
• Fluent French and English are essential
• Working knowledge of German is a plus
• ‘’Can do attitude’’ – positive and personable
• Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
• Good time management skills
• Passionate about providing good customer service
• Innovative and able to challenge existing processes
• Ability to adapt to change
• Honest and ethical approach to business
• Highly computer literate with excellent Microsoft Office Skills, Internet skills and the ability to navigate in house software
• Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required
